I have the finest hair around and went no-poo for a while. I had more body than ever, but developed nasty dandruff I couldn't shake, so now I use hippie organic shampoo every three days or so.

Trainees had a mandatory training not for me, so I had a great meeting with a landscape architect we're partnering with next time around and then came home and took a two hour nap. Ahhh. I have to work late tomorrow and Friday, so I don't feel bad.

Barb - that sounds super tempting, especially with her threatening to expand into the market she herself already labeled as yours. Is she doing all of the ridonk legal shenanigan herself, on behalf of herself? Seems like legal harassment to me.

Man does the term "no-poo" just sound so gross. Or is just me?

(sits with javachik) While i can embrace the thought of never using shampoo, i can NOT embrance the phrase "no-poo". Makes me wanna force feed people prunes or something.

Technically, she's not doing it herself, but one of the senior partners at the legal firm of which she, herself, is also a partner is signing off on all the documentation. My guess is she's not paying one red cent while I, of course, am having to pay for a Very Expensive Lawyer. At the very least, that seems to be taking advantage of her position in a very sneaky, oily sort of way, but I don't know how unethical it technically is.

It's certainly shitty.

I was just reading something today about people taking fewer showers/baths combined with the no-poo hair cleansing.

It was kind of interesting to read the different responses of how often people shower (or just take sponge baths or whatever). I know Grandma E has such thin, dry skin she only showers once or twice a week per doctors orders.

I've tried the no shampoo thing but I don't think I was doing it right. If I ever have a significant amount of time off from work I might try it again, my hair would look okay when for 2 days but by day 3 I had to wash it.

Although when I had extremely short hair I would only use shampoo about every 3. Even though I used a lot of product I could scrub it all out and since it was short it didn't look greasy.

I'm sorry Crazy Lady continues to be crazy but hopefully you'll get a legal remedy so she can't direct so much crazy your way.
