The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald was 35 years ago today.

Just heard a story on the radio about the Gordon Lightfoot song. Apparently Lightfoot saw a TV documentary recently with new evidence that human error didn't cause the wreck. So he's changed a line of the song for future performances. From

Oh, thank you all very much for earworming me with this song. We used to perform it with our ridiculous Celtic music on Appalachian instruments band, so I know ALL THE LYRICS. And man, are there a lot of lyrics.
