Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

not your mom's socks.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

*headdesk* *headdesk* *headdesk*

The above should summarise how I feel about having come in to uni today. There are 'meetings' being held about me. Without my being told (my supervisor mentioned it, assuming I would have been informed).

I'm searching for supportive things to say and coming up all bras.

Heh. Bras will do for me.

I wish we could all live on Buffista Island. First of all, Buffista Island University wouldn't be that blockheaded, and second of all, if it were I could be there to... well, all I've got is my dad's taking a baseball bat to slam down on the front desk and say, "Now, maybe you will listen to me when I tell you to do something". I'm very angry on your behalf, Seska. I wish there were a way to channel that energy to do you some good.

Well, and I suppose wanting to go all cave-woman on your behalf isn't the right thing, either. Aside from violence not being the answer... I don't mean to take away from the power that you have, or should have... I just want to be an ally, not take over for you. Forgive me for being presumptuous.

Oh, don't worry about it, Andi! I appreciate the 'raaaah' cavewoman-type support. It makes me feel a bit better about my own 'grrrr'ness.

I want to register at Buffista Island University. Which I picture as holding classes on the beach and having a library in a treehouse. With its own lift.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Can there be a swimming pool in the library?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Can there be a swimming pool in the library?

Yes, but there will have to be a vapor barrier. Maybe enclose the pool in floor-to-ceiling glass and have an airlock system to exchange the air before you enter the library proper.
