Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I walked down the aisle to Trumpet Voluntary which was the same song that Princess Diana walked down the aisle to.

Go on. Be surprised.

I always wonder what the Trumpet Involuntary would sound like.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

We forgot to tell my grandma we were walking down the aisle to Metallica. The look on her face was priceless.

Enter Sandman?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I went to a wedding where the couple's first dance was to Fairytale of New York, though not the Pogues version, but the assembled guests all sang along loudly. Which may have been the point.

I walked down the aisle to something ultra-traditional played on a harp, but we made our entrance to our reception to the Breeders' version of the Buffy theme.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Shir if the guy is still single, it is not too late.

Not single, as far as I know. And lives two hours drive away from me. Not that it would stop me from seeing him, if he was single. Next time I'll run into him, I think I'll let him know he has a superpower on me.

And oh, did I mention I'll attend TEDxTalpiot, taking place in my campus this Thursday, representing Hollaback? (Not as a speaker - but I'll be there).

Speaking of fallings-out falling back in again, the friend I mentioned yesterday came back around today. It's a cautious relief.

I suspected that the problem wasn't really politics, and that turns out to be the case but this is one of those cases where something can't be un-heard.

Anyway, communications have resumed, so that's nice.

Even better, I am listening to the audiobook of "Going Postal." It turns out the tv mini was very, very loyal to the source material. What a delight!

My favorite line: "I commend my soul to any god that can find it."

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Enter Sandman?

Sad But True. Just the instrumental opening. What? It's a march.

I'll attend TEDxTalpiot

I don't know what that is but, Go Shir!

It's a TED-like event Laga.

TED is a vat of spicy brains, it is.

Ooh nifty! I have watched some of those TED vids before, I just hadn't realized it was a Thing.
