amyth, I am holding you, your brother, and your family in my thoughts. Sending you strength and ~ma.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Lots of ~ma for your family, amyth.
That was ... odd. I saw what looked like three fire trucks go by, which I thought was odd, because I didn't know that this town was big enough to have three fire trucks. Then I realized that they'd all stopped right outside. I looked out the windows, and saw that it was two fire trucks and a police car. One of the police officers was talking to a guy in the middle of the street, and then the guy went into a house across the street. Then a bunch of firefighters went into my landlords' house, which is just the other side of my house -- same building. So I went outside onto the porch, and there were two firefighters just standing in the middle of the street, not doing much, so I tried calling out to them to ask what was going on, but they couldn't hear me. As the firefighters came out of the door next-door, I asked, "Is everything OK?" and they said yes but didn't tell me anything more. Then my feet were really cold, because I'd gone outside barefoot, so I went back inside to try to find shoes, and they all drove away. Whole thing took five minutes. No idea what that was. The firefighters who went in next door were in their full uniforms, and a few of them had face-mask things, but they were just carrying crowbars and some other tools, no hoses or anything.
A kid stuck his head through the bannister?
All kinds of ~ma and positive loving thoughts sent your way, amyth.
Hil, maybe the neighbor thought they smelled gas. A neighbor of mine thought they smelled gas once and the firefighters almost broke down my door. It wouldn't take any time to establish no problem existed.
yeah, if there were two fire trucks it was likely a report of a gasleak or hazardous materials incident, they like to travel in groups for that kind of stuff.
Much ~ma to you and your family, amyth.
So APPARENTLY my parents are transiently proud of me for calling relatives for Diwali. They really oughtn't be making waves like this when I just bought this shirt for my brother and me to wear at Thanksgiving.
Hahaha! I may have to get one of those shirts, P-C. I got one of these instead a couple years ago: [link]
Oh, amyth. Wish there was something I could do. {{{amyth and fam}}}
P-C, love that t-shirt.
Spent 10 minutes sorting papers and cleaning off the coffee table. Parts of the surface are visible now, yay. At this point I'm procrastinating on work stuff, so time to get to it. Feh.

I can't see that photo. But you should get that one! Free shipping until November 15!
P-C, love that t-shirt.
It's like it was made for me. I also finally got this one.
So much ~ma for you and your family, amyth.
