I just read the recall notice at work and need to do a thorough combing of fridge and pantry when i get home, for i heart both cilantro and TJ products.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
i heart both cilantro and TJ products.
I'm just lucky I haven't been to TJs lately.
I need a productivity infusion. The only thing I really MUST do today is get some editing done that I brought home from work. But following close behind in the category of not-technically-MUST-but-my-life-would-be-happier-if-I-did-it-now is: buy new jeans (my old pair, well-worn and well-loved, decided to fray and rip along the inseam in my ladyparts area), get groceries, and clean off top of dresser. If there's a Staples close by (which I think there isn't) I need to pick up a couple cheap thumb drives, but I can always get those tomorrow, since there's a Staples right around the corner from my office.
Oh! Two more musts: watch the last episode of Sherlock and the new Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror tonight.
I'm being productive tomorrow. You can have all my productivity from today, Teppy.
Thanks, Laga! I was pretty productive yesterday (baked apple crisp, washed dishes, paid my bills, went to the pharmacy, and MEGA-cleaned the bathroom [for me, this means "scrubbed floor on hands and knees instead of using the Swiffer wetjet," and let me tell you, the floor REALLY needed a good scrubbing]).
And being productive yesterday means I don't feel like doing anything today. But I do need those new jeans.
I've gone grocery shopping. I forgot to buy Cheerios, though. I still need to deal with the pile of mail by my front door. (Bad thing about having a mail slot is that there's no real incentive to go through the mail each day. When I had a mailbox, I knew that it would get full if I didn't empty it.)
I can't stand retail so finding a new pair of jeans for me is a resale shopping ordeal. I'm fortunate to have my mom, who loves resale shopping and tends to bring me cute tops to try on while I'm working my way through a stack of jeans.
I can't stand retail
I'm not crazy about shopping, period (except grocery shopping -- I find it soothing, seriously), and I try to buy as much stuff online as I can. However, when it comes to pants of any kind, I need to try them on.
And I'd totally do resale/thrift shops if I were a non-plus size. Oh, I know that thrift shops have plus-size clothes, but it's hit or miss, and that's too much time potentially wasted if I go to a thrift store and can't find something in my size.
I saw a commerical for pajama jeans the other day. i was actually tempted.
It's true most of the clothes you find in resale shops are in the middle range of sizes.
