In Hubbies In Pain news, they've finally tracked down the reason for Hubby's ongoing gut pain--his guts are too big. Not that he's fat, he's just a bigger than average guy, so his intestines are longer than standard, so contents of said intestines don't have time to process through to their final destination before the gases build up and cause pressure and blockages. He's been prescribed Citrical for its specific clearing properties.
Me: "Oh, like the Great Sewer Cleaning Ball of Paris?" Him: "Pretty much."
Thank god for reasons and gastro doctors who know what they're looking at, and boo to Hubby's weird genetics (extra bones, extra intestines, he's like a Klingon).

BOO on Drew being so sick he's in the hospital at least a WEEK?!!? WTF?! Dear lord. And I certainly cross my fingers for you that there's a cap on your health insurance minimums or something. YIKES.

I am finding out, unsurprisingly, that Shit Down Here is Fucked Up. This is going to be an interesting decision-making process, even if I do find a job. And hilariously to me, my name is being bandied about for all kinds of mostly unpaid shit. And a paid ED position that I'm not qualified for, nor do I think I want. Jesus Christ, people, just give me a power saw and pay me enough to live.
