Happy Birthday!
Does anyone know the Rules of Being Canadian? A friend told me that since my father's father immigrated from Canada, I can be a Canadian citizen. True?
IIRC, false (at least for Automagic Citizenship, because I know Lillian's not, though I am), but you can check the Citizenship Yes or No? questions on the government's site. (I don't remember the URL, but if you search YouTube for waking up Canadian, you should find it.)
Unpacking~ma, quester! Hope you enjoy the new place.
Spidra, wishing you much strength in dealing with your family's unreasonable demands. Wish I had any advice to offer. I'm ridiculously lucky to have sufficient care provision and a supportive partner. I know so many people who have no support in that situation. Hope you can find solutions.
The professors I work for are currently debating if a certain logo should be added to certain invitations of a certain convention. And if capitalizing the secondary (?) title is grammatically correct.
I find it adorable, but alas, poor, poor graphic designer. I'm considering to buy her chocolate after the terror these two brought upon her the past week*.
Seekert message to Seska - was my last line grammatically correct?
Belated Happy Birthday, DC!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MR. JENSEN!!!
Psst, Fred, you are on time with the b-day wishes. He was posting just after midnight in our time zone.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DANIEL!!!
Thanks all for the Happy Birthday wishes.
For the record, that was only a little bit of trolling for birthday wishes, as I was so damn happy to get my ancient computer working for a little longer. Turns out it was a good time to abandon it a year or so ago for a slightly newer model.
Now, I just have to make it last until my newer-newer one comes, and that's soon.
Happy birthday, DCJ!
Seekrit message to Shir: Very nearly! "I'm considering buying" is the right construction there. But it's a little thing.
