Or maybe you could just be Buffy, he'll see your amazing heart, and he'll fall in love with you.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Cereal: I should mention that I'm having a great time and loving the new job.

Yay!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Laga, check with your friendly neighborhood poll workers (or better yet, see if there's info on the website of your local board of elections) -- you are generally supposed to vote at your current address, but it's a totally routine issue, and they'll know exactly how to get you sorted out.

To give you an idea, in this area, you can vote at your old address if you moved within the county less than 30 days ago; if you didn't get updated, you go to the old polling place, check in and tell them you've moved, and they give you a voucher to take with you to the new polling place where you'll do a provisional ballot. If you moved from outside the county, you have to register, but can do it at an early voting site up until 3 days before the election.

Check now!! in case you have something like the 3-day thing. But the point is, while every place is different, every one has SOME kind of procedure in place to handle just this sort of thing.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

It may technically qualify as voter fraud, I don't know. It's not like you are voting twice (voting at both addresses) or voting under an assumed identity, or paying someone to vote the way you want.

“Not dead yet!”

Sweet zombie Jesus.

Maria had to take my mother shopping this morning, since the woman refuses to stay put the way she's been ordered to.

The reason? A date with the Much Younger Family Jeweler.

And now Maria's traumatized because when she was loading the bags into her car, she happened to catch a glimpse inside one of them and spotted a box of Summer's Eve.

I just... I have no words.

Oh dear. Is it okay if I find it just a wee bit amusing, Barb? I realize I'd probably feel differently if it were my own mom but... hee.

Honestly, I'd probably find it funny as hell—if it wasn't my own mother. And if I hadn't lived through this pattern time and again. Foolishly, I'd hoped she'd grown beyond this.

Clearly, foolishly.

No wonder I never was a wild child. Who could compete?
