~ma for your mom, Barb. I'm glad she came out of it way better than the car did.
Congrats on the good review, too!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

~ma for your mom, Barb. And congrats on the review! Which I forgot to say earlier, because I'm a bad person.
Oh, Barb, mom~ma.
And yay for the good review! (I think I forgot to say it earlier).
Thanks for the ~ma, y'all. I talked to Mom briefly-- she's in the ER waiting to go back for x-rays still. She sounded pretty out of it, because they gave her happy making drugs, but was with it enough to say the accelerator on her car got stuck-- I'm trying to google and see if this is a known problem for her car.
We'll see. Hopefully, Mom's not too terribly bad off other than residual soreness.
And in other news, because today is all about the roller-coaster rides, I just found out that STARS is going to be the December Book of the Month for the Latina Book Club. [link] It's also being reviewed on that site this coming Monday and I suspect, it's going to be another good one. I just keep crossing my fingers and lighting candles that they all continue to be good reviews. I could sure use them!

That's great! Is that going to further piss off The Evil One?
Is that going to further piss off The Evil One?
We can hope. Fits of apoplexy may be admissible in court as signs for "Bailiff, throw that loon out!"

Is it wrong that I gleefully wondered the same thing?
::snicker::
Y'know, I'm trying to remain all Zen and trying to keep the bad karma at bay by thinking that it shouldn't matter-- that what matters is it's a good thing for me and for the book and the universe will take care of the rest of it.
But Zen and karma can only go so far and so yeah, I kinda wondered the same thing.
::waits for lightning to smite me for being an arrogant shit::
