Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Usually hospitals will work out payment plans.

Now tagless for your comfort.

80/20 is pretty standard. That's what we pay. Liv's penny escapade cost us $3K after insurance. She made the mistake of swallowing that sucker so early in the year--before we met our deductible.

Pix, totally make a payment arrangement. My hospital will make arrangements as low as $25 a month. Most hospitals are willing to work with you.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Typo Boy and vw are right. Ask for a payment plan.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I accidentally spray painted my hand metallic green, giving it a startling Visitor look.

I am being 3 years old and I know it. I had told my cousin and the relative that's doing all the arrangements that I was going to visit him yesterday in the hospital. He was supposed to be moved some time this week to a rehab facility, so he can get in good enough shape for chemo. I got ready to go yesterday, then called and called and finally called to get the floor nurse, only to find out he had already been moved. Now I'm waiting to see when anyone is going to tell me about it.

I know I'm being petty, but for the last couple of weeks, my irritable bowel has turned into pissed-off-all-the-time bowel and I'm just weary of it all.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ugh, Pix. Because I know I hit up stuff continually, I don't do the 80/20 plans, and instead go with flat rates. It works out for me.

::sigh:: Ginger. Sorry life bites.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ugh, Ginger. I'm sorry life is being wearying.

Though I kind of want a picture of the green hand.

Ginger sorry about that.

[Edited post to try and make int sound like it was written by someone socially competent.]

And ita - flat rate co-pays no longer available in a lot of areas or from a lot of health plans. Glad that option is still available to you. Even some HMOs now have percent copays on big expenses, which kind of of loses the the big advantage of an HMO from the patients point of view. In individual plans in my area almost impossible. Probably large and medium size employers can still offer plans with that option, but not all do.I can no longer get a plan with less than a $1,000 deductible, and that includes group health. Shouldn't grumble, At least I can get health insurance still, don't know if that will last forever.
