Fire bad. Tree pretty.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

So sorry, Fred Pete. You guys gave him such a happy and loving home and you can be proud of that.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Vortex, your point is a good one. But we reckoned the film also failed the Bechdel Test. Which, while certainly not the only important thing about representation of women in films, does irritate me when a movie otherwise has fantastic women characters. And I'll get off the feminist soapbox now, really I will.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Fred Pete, I'm so sorry.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

So sorry, Fred Pete. My condolences to you and the Hubs.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Fred Pete, my condolences to you and Hubs.

Shir, congratulations on the successful launch of Hollaback Israel! I know you've put a lot of hard work and effort into it, and I'm so glad it's come to fruition.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Shir, congratulations on your site launch! May it be a point of strength for those who need it.

Oh Ryan, you little star! Lethal cuteness and walking? Deadly combination. Admirable work there on your and his mom's part, bt!

Fred Pete, you and Hubs provided noms and love and shelter and so much more. Max knew what he was doing when he picked you. So much peace and comfort wished to those he leaves behind.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Thanks for the thoughts, all. We're most worried about Marie. She's never been without Max before, and she was in the room when he was put to sleep. We thought it'd be less difficult for her than spending forever wondering when he'd come home.

She seems to be handling her grief fairly well, but it's hard to tell with a cat.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.
