Kaylee: H-how did you... g-get on...? Early: Strains the mind a bit, don't it? You think you're all alone. Maybe I come down the chimney, Kaylee. Bring presents to the good girls and boys.

'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I am so loving the costume pics. Aimee and Joe look adorable together, as does Tim. That costume is sheer genius.

I have a witch's hat for Sunday, but not sure what else to wear. I figure I can rummage around my closet for some proper looking stuff, but dang I wish I had a corset! Oh well.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I love the costume pics too. And Ryan's pics. And Spidra, I'm sorry about the uncomfortableness.

And Barb - wow. Your teenagers is gorgeous.

In things I do not love: strong, feminist women who don't understand hollaback because "what good will come up from making noise about it"?

Excuse me, ladies, have you studied your feminism? Because sexual harassments were routine until women started "making noise about it". Also, lack of voting.

It bothers me more than the (male) one who commented "I don't understand the connection between your assault and the fact that you're a woman".

It's called boobs, sweetheart.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Huh. My brother keeps demanding I produce proof that any socialist country has succeeded. I'm not quite sure why, other than that I am a dirty commie pinko for not be a Tea Partier.

Sounds like the stupid is burning both of us today.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tell him, "Every other industrialized nation on Earth." Then tell him that's using the Tea Party definition of socialism.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Are there any pure forms of any specific political type? Seems most modern countries are hybrids of political types. Federal Republic. constitutional monarchy. parliamentary democracy. etc. Even the "communist" countries are more dictatorial communist. Or some such.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

So, I mentioned over the weekend Ryan had started standing on his own. Today he started walking. I have a toddler. He's so proud of himself.

Outside chance his parents are too.

Ryan, congratulations on becoming bipedal!

Brother has yet to acknowledge any difference between various forms of socialism and communism. Anybody who feels like playing logical fallacy bingo could certainly fill a card on his rantings.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

huzzah for toddling!

Fred, much ~ma for you and Hubs and the rest of your kitties in the wake of Max's passing. The way you love and sacrifice for these cats- I just want you to know, i get it and I am very inspired by it.

Fred Pete, I'm so sorry for your loss. Max was a one-in-a-million cat. Harvey sends you his best purrs.

Always Anti-fascist!

I don't know what to say to that, except that my brother's attempts to push me to the middle aren't so annoying now. Probably not going to happen, but it could still be worse. Men in suits: definitely depends on the man. And the suit. But then, there is a man like Grayson. Whom I love, in an non-stalkery, we-never-met-way, and yet I don't think I've ever seen him anywhere and not thought "What the hell is he WEARING?" because that's how he rolls. He is the only person I could possibly be a consultant for, though, because I could just blurt out "Mr. Grayson, you dress like a colorblind mobster," and he probably wouldn't get upset.
