Our Halloween party was last night. Sci-Fi was the theme. I present the Handmaid and the Highlander: [link]

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I think you should have been the one with the sword, myself! Nice picture.
Billytea, I was just telling Paul it is good we don't live in your neck of the woods, because we'd be PRYING Lillian off your kidlet every time we'd see you. (Cute toddlers being her favorite thing to hug and smoosh and try to take home.)
Clark Kent is Superman?!?
So you're saying there's some sort of connection between Clark Kent and Superman?
Also, cool!
Steph, he looks great! Do we get to see pics of you?
Aims, love the costumes.
Ryan is, as usual, adorable.
My parents and sister were visiting this weekend. That was nice. Now they've gone home, and my house is quiet, which is also nice.

We didn't get any of me -- mostly because my costume wasn't street-legal, so I left the house in yoga pants, witchy boots, and a fleece pullover. And at the venue photography isn't allowed, so no picture there. And to leave I had to put the yoga pants and fleece pullover back on.
And when we got home we were otherwise occupied and pictures never happened.
I was just a generic, not very creative witch -- sheer black shirt, long foofy black petticoat, cool black boots, black cape, witch hat. My head got really hot under the hat and I took it off, which left people wondering what in the hell I was.
The reaction was far better to Tim's costume. Just him showing up in a man's suit -- before he even ripped open the shirt to show off the Superman shirt -- had people agog. Seriously. Several people walked right past him and didn't recognize him, which I suppose proves that those dorky glasses really DO disguise Clark Kent....
Seriously, one woman asked me if he stayed home, and I said, "You walked right past him downstairs -- he said hi to you!"

That's awesome! And I love the costume - cleverly photographed, too.
There was also a Wonder Woman last night, and a Silk Spectre (I), and the Punisher. Oh, and V from V for Vendetta. It was comics-tastic!
There was a handful of really amazing steampunk costumes that I wish I could have gotten pictures of -- the level of detail and the quality of the clothes was outstanding. I kept making geebly noises every time they walked by.
Tim really does rock the business suit, Tep. Not a sentence I ever thought I'd say about anyone, but he truly does look quite stylin'. And the S-shirt reveal is even better.
Matilda's curled up on the couch in her Wonder Woman costume watching Harry Potter. I'm really concerned that it's going to be worn to bits long before Halloween night ever comes.
