Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I hope everything goes the best way it possibly can with your brother's surgery, amyth.
Thanks, y'all. My SiL called this morning. The surgery's at 1 PM today, Eastern. Looks like he's going to have a rough few days after, with swelling, and such. She's going to call when he gets out.
For the moment, I'm at the House of Kate P. Yay!
I take 100mg of Topamax a day for migraines, which were a gift with purchase with my seizures. It works great for me. When I first started taking it, I had a lot of problems with the fogginess, forgetting words, tingling in hands and feet, but that was years ago. Now I just have occasional problems with forgetting words, but not enough that it's not worth it. I tried weaning myself off Topamax last year, and my migraine frequency shot up from once every few months to once a week or more.

Stephanie, what the hell, with your mortgage company? But I am really happy and excited about you getting out of your work situation. Yay, freedom!

Masses of ~ma for amyth and family-of-amyth.
Lots of ~ma and support for amyth, Connie, FredPete, and anyone else who needs it.
Now I just have occasional problems with forgetting words...I am like that naturally. Words. Names. Ugg. Sometimes I sound like an idiot. I'm thinking those dozen or so concussions as a kid had something to do with that. Thank you Gravity for being so law abiding, and making me kiss the ground on regular occasions. My head and knees do not thank you.
I am kinda curious about the number of people with migraines in our group. I occasionally get, what I think are, serious sinus headaches, and I know how hard it is to function with those. I can't imagine what life is like with chronic migraines. Tons of ~ma for an end to migraines. But the sleuth/scientist in me wants to see if there is a common cause. Do Buffistas have a higher propensity to migraines? Or are we in with the averages, and folks IRL just don't talk about it as much? I want to fix it! (I know, I can't fix everything, medical things being high on the 'no chance in hell of fixing' lit).
ok, I should be working. No, really, I should be.
