Now, question for the drug-knowing 'istas: my sister got prescription today for Topamax for her Very Bad Migraines. Any word on that specific drug, or knowledge that you can share?
Yep, I did just wean myself off of it. I didn't have too bad a time going on, with the fatigue/dopeyness, but tapered up, when going on. The most things I noticed were the lack of words (I couldn't come up with them, and would just let sentences trail off) and the tingly feet and hands--but there was some anorexia (lack of appetite) as well.
Just read my oldest sister's cancer blog. The latest round of chemo isn't working right. Damn these long drawn-out diseases. A few months ago she was looking at a brighter-than-expected future. That light at the end of the tunnel is looking like it might be the Sunset Limited after all.
oh Connie. Chemo~ma for your siser.
Gosh, I hope it turns around again, Connie.
Oh no. Health~ma for your sister, Connie.
Lots of health ~ma for your sister, Connie-- with a hearty FUCK CANCER on the side.
Oh, Connie, I'm sorry to hear that.
And because I need to vent...
I just walked in the house and got a call from our mortgage company asking me if I was planning on making our first payment. I said yes, on 1 Nov. Which is when it is due. They said no, it was due 1 Oct, but has a 30 day grace period. So I could pay them on Oct 31, but then I would owe them again on 1 Nov.
I thought I was going to throw up. I'm quitting my job on Friday and there is no way we have an extra $2K just sitting around. I was actually shaking I was so upset.
Thankfully, I have an amazing mortgage broker who talked me down off the ledge. And showed me where in my paperwork, three different times, it says 1 Nov. So fuck off, motherfuckers...if I can sue for pain and suffering, I will because what they put me through, even if only for 20 minutes, was hell.
That is NOT on, Stephanie! I'd be ill, too! I'm glad you're quitting the hell hole.
Stupid mortgage company!
