Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
Topamax is also known as Dopamax. I take 50mg per day, and don't explicitly have any foggy side effects, but I'd kill for a foggy side effect at this juncture. I think meara just weaned herself off it.
I think, sadly, it's been partially effective for me.
