I'm thinking about buying something very expensive. Maybe an antelope.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I anticipate a big yelling showdown to occur at some point, and, honestly, it needs to happen, which is one reason I'm going. If things get too ridiculous, I can always go stay with my brother.

You could just plan on staying with your brother. That way there is less constant stress and you can possibly avoid a "blowing up/flouncing off" scenario.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Staying in a hotel can be a very good thing. I adopted that policy for trips to San Diego a few years ago and it has made time with my family a bit more bearable.

AMEN and TESTIFY.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Just when I was about to ask for ~ma, the situation got less scary. My neighbor's grandson was rushed to the hospital for fever of unknown origin, with a stiff neck and hugely swollen lymph nodes in his neck. However, after a day of trying everything, they did a catscan and found a large abscess at the back of the throat, which they're going to drain today. Googling indicates that once it's drained and he's on antibiotics a few days, he'll be fine.

In the last year, one of his mother's left my friend's daughter for another woman; his mother lost her job due to blatant homophobia; and because of the above, he had to go to a new school, where he hasn't been doing well.

The universe is just mean.

move out and draw fire

In times like these, who doesn't crave the security of knowing where your next pie is coming from?

She needs to work out some kind of corporate sponsorship with SPN. This is so very Dean.

Art Crawl!!!

Dean keeps on asking his brother for pie and his brother keeps on NOT GETTING it for him.

I think he needs to ponder that for a while.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Ginger, I'm sorry.

Also, a lot of ~ma to Sox and to Max and his people.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The only person that got Dean pie was dead at the time. The first time we saw Dean ask his brother for pie, his brother died shortly afterwards. This can't all be coincidence.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Anybody know of an editing job where I can work from home and make a decent salary? Because I've got one that I'd like to trade in for a less crazy version where I work less than 50 hours a week.
