Can we maybe vote on the whole murdering people issue?

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Laga is mean. Whether to Polter's Mom or Polter, I'm not sure.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

My middle school prinicipal would make a loud noise (similar to a martial arts grunt) to get us to put our hands up - we kept them up and were silent for the last 3 minutes of lunch. My parents will be tickled to hear I'm trying one of his tactics.

PC, I say hold firm. Maybe confer with your brother behind the scenes? And I am glad Doctor Girl is in cahoots with you.

I am also in the mourning the sun but lacking a lightbox camp. I'm hoping that being out and about in the morning will make things better this year.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Maybe confer with your brother behind the scenes?

This was our conversation yesterday:

Me: How long is their little mini-vacation? A week? And aren't tickets to India even more expensive now?
Me: They're like $2500.
Me: For that, I could...not fight with my parents for a week.
Him: yeah its ridiculous

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

For that, I could...not fight with my parents for a week.

If you are trapped in India for week you will fight. You have done great standing strong so far. If you put yourself in a position where you have a solid week where it is tough to get away from your parents you will end up traumatized at the least. Given that it is a culture they know a lot better than you and have a lot more connections than you, I don't know how strong the pressure would get or whether it would cross the line to coercion. But even if all it does is leave you sobbing at night for a year, I'd would say it is worth avoiding.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

P-C, stay strong!

Always Anti-fascist!

I told myself I wouldn't weigh in on this any further, but "Hell, no," to India. It's just insanity. Culturally prescribed insanity is still insanity. I'm a woman; I know. They will be unhappy, but I suspect, as with my father, they cannot be otherwise.

erika FTW.

Hey hivemind, if I had one glass of wine 2.5 hrs ago and Zoloft this morning, how bad is it to take acetominophan? I has headache. Would Naproxen be better? I think I have some of that, but I have no ibuprofen.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'd do it. That's not an excessive amount of alcohol or anything. I think Naproxen has no alcohol warnings and Tylenol has whoooooa, not too much alcohol ones so after one glass, I'd personally risk the Tylenol. But I could be wrong.

...

Better to wait for La Tep.

I am more "what can I take after x amount of Benedryl or Advil or Sudafed" girl.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I think you're fine taking Tylenol after 2 1/2 hours. Assuming you aren't washing it down with a shot of tequila.

I found ibuprofen... albeit six months expired. Decisions, decisions.
