Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

a lot of men, including some religious men, seemed really interested in this show

It's a good show. How many people watch TV in the computer farm? I've seen people wtach music ideos at the library but most people seem to be doing research, checking emails or facebook, or looking for jobs.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'd say that 2-3 people out of 30 are watching TV in any given time.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Y'know, I've only ever seen a few episodes of Supernatural. I might use my next flare to catch up on a few seasons. (Yes, this is how I plan my life.) I have one colleague who watches TV on his computer in the office, but the rest of them are extremely hard-working and don't even seem to spend any time on Facebook. Disturbing.

Seska, do you think The Girl would like to read and give me her two cents on this?

I'll ask her. I'm sure she'll be interested - it's feminism and Israel, after all. Really glad to hear you're getting somewhere with it! Hope it gets lots of interest and contributions.

Continued success~ma for the new job, smonster. Glad to hear it's going well.

amych, *huge* congratulations on the Buffista-fic-inspired fencing win!

Really sorry to hear about your dog, Sox.

No idea what I'm doing today. Except writing a four-year schedule to show my supervisor that I need more than three years on this PhD. Meep. There is less pain today! Wishing the same to everyone who's having pain at the mo.

I'm glad there's less pain today, Seska. Good luck with writing that schedule, and thank you for asking The Girl.

And oh, expect the final email on the budget saga. It's OK if you won't have the time/energy for it!

No problem, Shir!

Sox, I am so so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine that you guys weren't the best family a dog could have, though.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Shir, are you still working on the hollaback site or has that been tabled for now?

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'm working on it, after it's been tabled for a while since my friends failed through. Since it's only me, the work is mostly done during the weekends.

Edit: Seska, insent.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm very sorry about your loss, Sox.

Geez, Sean, I'm sorry to hear about what you went through. That woman sounds really screwed up.

This just in: I regret to have to report that I have clearly failed to teach my little boy the rudiments of road safety. [link]
