Holy shit, ya'll. You can spend over $400 at Sam's Club without half trying. Not that I know for sure or anything ...
But I'll not need lots of things for a long time. Sam's Club and Costco are awesome for controlled hoarding, like that which I am doing.
Joe and I cleaned the eff out of the garage, too. He's taking back all the Girl Scout bottles for me this week so we have room for people in there for the Halloween party this Saturday.
Speaking of, I need to go out today and find an ankle length red dress, red gloves, red boots, and I have to figure out how to make a coif/wimple thingie with wings. Our theme this year is Science Fiction.
Un-spasm-y back~ma, Pix.
Aside from having to drive my possibly damp car later, I love these kinds of days.
Note that out here we never get the kind of cold rainy days where you have to scrape ice off your car to find the door lock.
I am such a child. I want my roomie to get up and enjoy this rainy day with me. At the moment D is literally my roommate because my bed is the futon on the floor but I did just go in there and start jumping on my bed, hoping to wake him.
I did not know that Girl Scouts came in bottles.
Butter bells, girl scout bottles- I am learning all sorts of things today.
My Ikea furniture is looking lovely in my study. I may downgrade them to 'not currently entirely evil incarnate'.
Pix, wishing you a less spasmy back.
Thanks for the anti-pain wishes! I'm stressed out about my ability to sustain a PhD study schedule, as (unsurprisingly) my pain levels are going up since I started having an office to go to and deadlines to meet again. I'm going to have a chat with my supervisor next week that will involve making him understand that this really will affect things like my target completion date. I think it's just about standing firm and producing proposed schedules for everything.
Amych preparing to fence.
Amych fencing! (She's on the left; IIRC, that's not just a picture of her fencing -- it's a picture of her scoring!)
Good luck next week, Seska.
Amych photos! Awesome!
I should edit to include what she just posted on Facebook -- those are photos of NATIONAL MEDAL-WINNING AMYCH!!!!
