I saw smonster's post as "catheters of the hivemind". o_O
Speaking of wishing one had been hatched from an egg swathed in $100 bills, I woke up really early so I supposed that I'd have several hours before having to deal with my siblings and their distressing traits but I was wrong. I'm not very resilient and I regret this lack.
I'm trying to gird my loins for a public transit commute to a free life drawing session today. The Metro Rail part is no problem. It's the figuring out how to walk from Union Station to the 704 bus stop that's intimidating to me. The map makes it look like there are a lot of broad non-pedestrian-friendly streets there.
Good luck with your papers and proposals, Shir.
Congrats on the test-slayage, Aims!
Congrats, Aims! You made that test your BITCH.
amych is on her way to my fair city for a fencing tournament
I KNOW!!!!
It's honestly an easy drive -- we drove straight through from Topsail, and that was under 12 hours (the way I drive, that is). It looks like the weather is great, so you should zip on through.
I knew Aims would dominate that test. She is The Empress after all, right? Congrats Aims, now go out and warp the minds of the future!
The 213 things Skippy is no longer allowed to do in the U.S. Army
This was awesome! Very funny. And my fav was in the "about me" where he goes into what those fruit roll ups were used for
10. Skippy was a weird little cuss.
Look, if spending your leave assembling a kilt out of fruit roll-ups in order to be the world’s first “Edible Scot” makes you weird…on second thought, that is kinda weird, so yeah, I guess that one stands.
I wonder if NoiseDesign will make one of those for the next F2F prom. How interesting would it be to eat that?
I'm also laughing at everything and sounding like a whinneying horse. Too bad no one else is here to appreciate the sexiness of this.
Call me a crazy sound man, but I so want a recording of that!
Shir, I hope your papers thing is going well. Glad to hear new job is doing well.
ION- I am so glad I recorded last nights game. And even happier I decided to watch the end this morning, after passing out in front of the game last night. Gotta love that 8th inning!
Yay, Aims!
I have mostly finished with the papers. Some of them were stupid (e.g., sociologists of collective memory who are claiming that historians don't know shit about the past). Some of them were good (e.g., the history papers). That is all. Thank you for your support.
Yay, Shir, getting mostly done with the papers.
Yay, Aims, go you, with your bad test-taking self.
Safe driving Amy.... sorry, can't remember now if it's ch or th. Be safe, and have good Graeter's! Also good luck with the fencing tourney.
Teppy, I hope your tummy learns to straighten up and fly right, soon.
I'm having the kind of day that entails emergency trips to the laundromat and having to buy a wet/dry vacuum.
