I eat alone in restaurants all the time, but that's because I'm a business traveller. Hell, go into damn near any hotel restaurant and half the people in there are at a table by themselves.

Oh my LORD. I am so tired. And I have to work tomorrow, and Sunday I have a bunch to read for my new job, and and and. But I went to the office today and met the two people I'll be working closely with, and I'm finally getting excited.

I am going to miss amyth horribly. I'll miss lots of my coworkers, but amyth the most.

I am so glad this week is over. It seems like it lasted about three weeks.

Homecoming here is this weekend. The traffic tonight for the parade was ridiculous. Also, a bunch of roads closed, so it took me an extra 15 minutes to get home, because I had to figure out how to get home on the few roads that were open.

Srsly. I am Captain Grumpypants right now.

One of the reasons I am grumpy is because my foot hurts. I have a diagnosis of plantar fasciitis and an appointment in two weeks with a podiatrist.

Anyone have recommendations for ways to treat it in the meantime?
