Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

With a white shirt, you want your bra to match your skin tone or it's clearly visible through the shirt.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Don't have to worry about the wire anymore.

My favourite sports bra is underwire. But I've never had a problem with underwire. The bra is just FABULOUS. I'm not sure why I don't wear it all the time. I suspect it does better shaping than the more expensive Wacoals I wear day to day (and which I really should replace any time now.

There is no colour of bra I can wear under a white shirt and not look obvious with. I have strange glowy unmatchable skin tone.

Having now been pregnant since THE BEGINNING OF RECORDED TIME, I barely remember what it was like.

SERIOUSLY! Are you ever gonna have this baby? Ima call you Bonnie Swanson from now on.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, there isn't really a color of bra that matches my skin tone. But the point is, you can see my bra so that you can't see my breasts! Harumph. Not that it's an issue for me at this point in my life since I wear all black t-shirts.

Heh - I had to Google that.

I sympathize with female elephants.

I wasn't sure you'd get it, Jess. I knew other people would. And I knew your Google Fu is mighty.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I feel dumb. Is it because your nips show through?

If one must wear a bra and attend school with teenage boys, at least in my time, the nicest thing to be expected of them, should they be reminded that one is wearing a bra, is to ask one to raise one's arms to continue the field goal so they can play football.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I know bitd there was a notion of virgins not being able to use tampons or shouldn't use tampons or some such.

My mom has ample boobs AND hates underwires. Frankly, we're lucky she wears a bra at all. One of my early rebellions was insisting on wires.

OK, here's fun. My sister's friend just had her much sought after babies. Hooray! And she has said since high school or so that if she had boy/girl twins she would name them Catherine and Christopher. And she went and did it.

Now, had I boy/girl twins I too would have literary and cinematic naming inspirations temptations. And while Luke and Leia nor Tom and Savannah had easy peasy lives, I don't think we'd be risking the serious emotional scar potential present when one of those kids discovers VC Andrews.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

There's a new line of skin tone bras. I haven't tried them, but they have a more comprehensive list of tones than most lines I've seen: [link]

Am very intrigued! What is this bra??

All my sportsbras have underwire too. Except the one I ordered on super sale before I went away last week and haven't tried on yet. Must remember to do that.
