I don't mind her being thin, but she doesn't seem to have the muscle to do the things/hit as hard as she allegedly does.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
The bus company puts me through some nonsense shit.
Basically, they canceled the line from my home to the university. Without notice. And prior to that, it was mostly a roulette - would it come today? In the summer break? At all? Mama?
I called the information first. They claimed they don't have that line in their database. So what if I took it numerous times before, for all they know right now I'm the delirious client. I went back home, angry for the lost time (hour and a half today. God knows how many lost hours by now), and the complaint form in their site is useless and requesting way too much personal data to report anything. Then I called costumer service, and there they tell me that if my question is regarding with bus lines, I should call to the information - where, as you might remember, they never heard of the line because it's not in their database.
Touché, motherfucking organization. I now realize you treat your clients as your bitches, and you can do whatever you want to them.
If I only had another way to commute.
Wow Shir, I'm appalled at your bus "service."
I'm both appalled and applauding their useful way of slipping "catch 22" section to their costumer service. The Art of Making People Batshit Insane is an old one, but The Art of Slipping Catch-22s Into Bureaucracy is still rare.
More mathy-types than me: I want to calculate if it pays me to take a class to raise my average, but I'm not sure how. Considering that most of my classes have different amount of credit points (2, 4, 6 and 8), and that class is only 2 credits, and that I defined "pays to take another class" if it'll raise the average in 1.5 points or more, how should I calculate it?
Second day of PhD. Being a bit held back by logistics - mostly that my book stand, document holder and green reading overlays are still in a box somewhere. Taking it slowly and doing things like exploring the library, or my brain might explode. (My back is already complaining about the amount of time I'm spending out of bed!)
I hope Chloe's recovering OK, Teppy.
Shir, that's one ridiculously bad bus service. The Girl tells me that public transport in Israel is practically non-existent, but that sounds more like literally non-existent.
Take it easy, Seska. You'll do wonderful, but take it easy.
Public transportation is Israel is actually not that bad. It's the service that makes some people to hurt other people.
I, too, am really enjoying the Hawaii 5-0. Although GP is pretty slim, her character's basically just out of her teens, and was a competitive surfer. Lanky.
I thought Kim was Korean! Man, his face. I have always been fascinated by his face. It's so compellingly angle-y. I just call him Cheekbones.
Shir, that is more than annoying. I hope you can figure out something.
Seska, go you! I am envious -- I would dearly love to be back in the classroom.
Second day of PhD
Yay!
Ow. I think today is a crutches day. Waay too much walking yesterday.
Ouch, Hil.
Poor Chloe, I hope the morning goes easy for her, and for you all.
I watched the pilot of H50 and it was kind of fun. But it must conflict with something because Tivo's not picking it up.
Oooh, reminds me it's time to take my cat her shot. Okay, give. Because English abuse is NOT okay. But it did remind me that it is time to medicate her.
Maybe the cat prefers to do the injections on her own.
I hope Chloe has a good day, today. And the rest of the Bitches, too.
Sox, just try to appreciate the American Girl stuff for being age appropriate and let the extended family do the buying! Kalliope already has a Bitty-Baby from Sara using this approach.
