Oooh, reminds me it's time to take my cat her shot. Okay, give. Because English abuse is NOT okay. But it did remind me that it is time to medicate her.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
oh dear, I've heard borrow instead of lend but take instead of give is new to me. I know English is a living language but sometimes I wish its growth and development was not in the hands of american teens.

Hey, don't knock today's teens. One of my ninth graders was horribly offended the other day when I told her that prepositions can live at the end of sentences now. "Why??" she asked, horrified.
"It's become common parlance," I explained.
"You mean if people are stupid long enough, they become right?!?"
Not all teens are cut from the same cloth, is all I'm saying. Laughed my ass off.
I stand corrected.
Thank heavens Chloe is ok. Damn. I hate scares like that. I hate them more for your sake, Teppy and Tim.
She's having a little more trouble moving around now, but I don't know how much of that is the extra opioid painkiller and how much of that is soreness/pain. Tim might sleep on the couch tonight to keep an eye on her.
Poor Chloe. I'm glad she has such good peeps taking care of her.
Anybody else enjoying the new Hawaii Five-O as much as I am?
really? I didn't even give it a chance. Maybe I'll tune in next week.
I am, except for a few things. Like, they shouldn't show malasadas. Because then I want some!
And their accents are wrong!
And the thing with the cranes, the cousin better damned well be supposed to be Japanese, which is unlikely since the character in question is supposed to be Chinese, played by a Korean.
"You mean if people are stupid long enough, they become right?!?"
This is the sort of thing up with which we shall not put.

I'm sorry the dog's hurting, but I'm not sorry that October 4th is The Day on Which an Old Dog Got [Somewhat More] Stiff and Sore [Than Usual], rather than some of the other possible endings.
