He's doing such a great job as older brother, he deserves a raise.

He's getting a little cocky about it, but frankly he kills with 4 y.o.'s. He's got the right energy and a pure willingness to get goofy with them.

I for one am happy to support his promotion to Even Older Brother.

As a point of fact he is older today than he was yesterday. That counts as a promotion.

Thanks WS. I keep working on the counting-our-blessings at times like these. MiL's illness has been hard, but there's been way more good than bad. But this is a scary new step, to go from the gamma knife to actual surgery.

I'm trying to wake up. Leaving for the job interview in more than an hour, but I woke up too early (without an alarm! That's somewhat scary).

Yay for the good birthday party.

I joined fb for work-related purposes, so expected the friending of many unknowns. It was really weird to have my extended family suddenly discover me and start friending me. Cousins I haven't seen since I was 12! My mom's best friend when I was 9! It's... weird. Kind of nice, though. I thought I was persona non grata with everyone, and you know, I'm not sure why I thought that.

I know, right? I *do* have a ministry page but we started it only recently, and I can`t seem to divert them. It`s just weird. I think they would still stalk us without the work, because of our connections, but I wouldn`t feel obligated to friend them I just think I should use fb less.
