Good luck, JZ!

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Good cleaning ~ma JZ! If you get the house ready, it'll stop raining. Best to have both options covered :)
It's stopped raining and I don't think it will actually rain during the party. It's just going to be wet at the playground.
Mud! The perfect addition to any party.
the other parents will be soooo pleased with the party favours ;)
Sorry the weather has turned out to be un-birthday partyish. I'm staying in The Richmond right now so it's difficult to tell what the weather REALLY is because it's usual foggy and misty here anyway.
Anne, the Eschscholzias are natives. And the Penstemon 'Blue Springs'. The rest aren't. Although Annie's Annuals sells a lot of natives. I don't have as much space to plant as I'd like so I focused mostly on cutting flowers. At my old place I had a mix of CA natives and "foreign" food crop plants.
The visit to Annie's yesterday took a lot out of me physically so I haven't rushed to get up this am (I was also up 'til 3am anyway). My cousin's family are supposed to be back from camping today but I'm not sure what time. So I'm not sure whether to wait for them so we can attend HSB together or whether I should just go now by myself.
I planted some scabiosa seeds this summer, but I don't think they came up. Maybe the morning glory choked it out. I'm just happy something came up! I'm not very garden-knowledgeable.
If the morning glory came up before the Scabiosa had time to get established, I think that could be it. Morning glory is VERY vigorous. Scabiosa is the normal amount of vigorous.
I'm glad The Boy was calm(er than me) - and yes, the fixodent worked really surprisingly well. I'm still going to phone in on Monday morning, as my appointment isn't for another week and a half. Still, before i glopped the cap back on, what an awful feeling. yuck.
I'm glad the quick-fix proved fixative, Sox.
