This is one of those times where I really wish I was on the East Coast and could grab Mal and HKF and take them for a day while Raq and Sox go for a 24-hour spa treatment. Sorry to both of you that you've had such a rotten time of late.
HIRED.
Equally smitten was HKF. Though Steve was adorable, it was javachick, drawing and making the faces, who won my daughter's heart. There is photographic evidence. I shall find it and post it, but after today.
Raq - kill them all. (ie: gaming purposes only)
Eta: clarity, grammar
eta: sequence. sequence is important.
Raq, that sounds awful. I hope you get a better weekend. Or some fun with the percoset, or something.
Raq, I'm reeeeeeally glad the lumps are both benign and gone, but I'm sorry about the sucky week. May it be smoother sailing from here.
What up, America?
Not Raq's luck, it seems, unfortunately. Hope this next week is better.
Stephen J. Cannell, Prolific TV Writer, Dies at 69
As a lover of TV, and good stories, He was good.
Some of the stores I have enjoyed over the years:
- 21 Jump Street
- The A-Team
- Baa Baa Black Sheep
- Baretta
- The Commish
- The Greatest American Hero
- Hardcastle and McCormick
- Hunter
- Magnum, P.I.
- Riptide
- The Rockford Files
- Stingray
- Wiseguy
RIP, sir.
Stephen J. Cannell basically ruled my Friday nights in the 80s.
That's sad about Stephen J. Cannell.
I wrenched my shoulder out of joint by trying to take off a cardigan after I was already sitting in my car.
Eek. Hope you're not in too much pain. Dislocations are evil.
Wishing you a better week next week, Raq, and healing~ma.
Job~ma, Shir. The market is indeed terrible. The Girl has given up looking for work for now, as she's going to be in Houston every other week for a while, but she wasn't getting anywhere with it before. Irritating stuff. Hope one of your ideal jobs comes up for you!
it's still above 32 Celsius here, people. In fucking October
10 degrees C here. I'm struggling to avoid putting the heating on, as it gets so expensive, but my hands hurt. I know we're always having the hot vs cold debate, but right now I'd really love 32 C!

Now it's at least 36 outside with a disgusting haze, and I don't even want to guess the humidity.
Still up for a switch? I'd love that 10 C!
It's 19 C here in Long Beach. Quite nice actually.
