Argh, smonster! Your current insurance should be good up till end of the month; might wanna compare COBRA to an individual plan like Blue Cross of something for a month or so. I've COBRA'd and it's fucking insane.
(Get your current doc to write out 90 scrips of any meds you take, and get em this month if you can; explain the sitch. Most docs are pretty understanding.)

Actually, my insurance goes to the end of the next calendar month, I think, so I'd only need COBRA for a short period. I should check with my HR person here. Thanks for the tip on prescriptions, that's a good idea.
And this job starts here, Erin, and I'm not sure when (or if) something will open up in NOLA. But you should go ahead and do your honeymoon down there!

Oh! Smonster! COBRA has a retroactive period!
IIRC you can go sixty or ninety days where you can make the back payment if you need to activate your insurance and use it.
I know I once utilized that feature (or, happily, didn't) when I had a situation where my new insurance wouldn't kick in for a month.

I repeated the Day One workout today. I still didn't make the minimum number on the last set, but I did one more than I did Monday. I'll repeat Day One on Friday and hopefully make the minimum on the last set, take the weekend off and then I should be able to do all of Week One next week.
I need more protein powder, but that won't be happening until the next check comes in.
