tommyrot, I'm using a Meade ETX-80 catadioptric (refracting/reflecting) telescope on a motorized tripod base. I have a 9mm and a 25mm viewing lens, and the 9mm is best for moon surface details and seeing the moons of Jupiter.

Cool. I'm tempted to buy something like that, as this is the closest Jupiter will be to Earth for 10 or 15 years....
