As a teacher, if it's marked midnight on Wednesday, it would be on time.
So I got to sleep about 1:30 am last night, and woke up when Dan's alarm went off at 4:30 am. And try as I might, I couldn't get back to sleep. I got up, ate a few crackers, tried to get back to sleep, but finally got up at 7:45.
I'm tired, but I figure this is just part of the getting back on track that I need to do. I've gotten a lot done today so far, and will get yet more done.
I'll def need another shower tonight though, and I took one last evening late. Cleaning is grotty! But I am well on the way to a very organized closet! I have found quite a few pieces of clothing I forgot I had!
Hey teachers - you give an assignment to post something "by Wednesday". Does that mean by end of day Wednesday or by end of day Tuesday?
I come at it from a litigation and not a teaching view. If it went out in Wednesday's mail, it would be on time.
Which once caused me to be part of a wild ride through downtown DC around 8:30 p.m. one night to get to a FedEx collection point before it closed for the night. Because the nearer collection points had closed.
Whitefonting for whinge in asscaps:
OMG FUCKING SERIOUSLY EMAIL ME SOME INFO IF NOT ALL OF IT I'M GETTING PARANOID THAT YOU'RE OFFERING IT TO SOMEONE CHEAPER, JEEBUS H. CRISPIES YOU'VE HAD NEARLY TWO FULL BUSINESS DAYS DAMMIT.
::whew:: Felt good to get that out.
Speaking as an HR person, the longer it takes, the more likely they are putting the pieces together to make a counter-offer.
Thank you, Scrappy, that is very helpful to hear.
Gah. The check engine light is on in my car.
Swell.
A lot of times that just means a sensor is off. Click & Clack told me so!

Yeah, I just googled my model and year and "check engine light" and I totally forgot that 4 or 5 years ago the light came on, and I pulled the mass air flow sensor and cleaned it, and then reset the EFI and everything was fine.
I guess technically the first step should be to go to AutoZone and have them hook their magical thing up to tell me what code my check engine light is related to.
Gah. The check engine light is on in my car.
Step one: Open hood
Step two: Verify Engine is there
Step three: Nod Yes if it is indeed there
Step four: close hood
Viola. Task is done!
t /no help at all!
Yes, a trip to the auto shop of choice would be a great idea.

I wonder how much those magical things are.
