For the first time in more than 30 years, I'm learning a piano piece. I was forced to take piano and didn't have groovy teachers so I quickly learned to learn by ear and fake that I was reading. Did myself a disservice there, of course. My hands hurt from playing tonight but not as much as the guitar or uke would have hurt. And I think another couple nights of practicing and I should have this short run down.

9 e-mails on OKcupid in 3ish hours. Date set. phone numbers exchanged. Yikes! Doubt anything will come out of it. But maybe a new friend. (she's 14 years younger, but has Sound Design in her profile, so I sent a note. Who knew she'd respond!)
eta: I should add, we've been exchanging e-mails for a couple weeks. But finally ramped up tonight.

She just told us she'll be working in BURMA, as a REPORTER.
