Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
BOO on those who didn't hire Stephanie!!
Yay Drew going home!!
Thanks for the brassiere suggestions. I'm going to go get measured at Macy's on Thursday and go from there. That's where I got my 2 OTBs before. Hopefully they can accomodate the girls.
Boo! Boo! Rubbish! Filth! Slime! Muck! Boo! Boo! to the people who didn't hire Stepanie!!
So glad Drew is on his way home. As I should be as well. Of course, I'm just leaving work, not the hospital.
Ugh, Stephanie, I'm sorry it didn't work out.
But I am glad for Drew that he's heading home. yay!
Stephanie, I'm sorry. I'm keeping you and your family in my thoughts every now and then. Also continued~ma to amyth and family.
Drew, these are excellent news! Yay recovery at home!
smonster, easy talk with boss~ma.
Now, I'd normally wouldn't post this late, but a dear, dear, uber-dear friends of mine had their first child born today - a baby girl. I'm psyched for them. Just went off the line with the proud father. He couldn't stop talking for the first 5 minutes about the new washing machine they just got, before I even had the chance to ask how his wife is doing (their washing machine got broken recently, the new one arrived today and he's home from the hospital taking care of the laundry). When I asked for pictures of the new human being, he told me that everyone took pictures of her - but the only picture he took was of "amusing medical poster that was in the hall". I do love my geek friends and their ways of being overly excited, though not sure how to show it. He's also apparently somewhat disappointed that at her 6th hour on earth, his girl didn't understand that his sleeve isn't the place to look for milk.
Welcome to the world, little thing. You've got an excellent family and an excellent start.
I can't wait until I'll get to see them next week.
Stephanie, so sorry to hear that.
But I am happy to hear that Drew is being discharged! Let's hope you're home for good, Mister!
smonster, I hope you get the results you want.
1 dry bagel, a shower and application of patch later, my stomach is still a bit meh, but much better.
Guys, even with puking, I have gotten SO MUCH done today!!! It feels wonderful.
you know what would be awesome? a ball pit full of candies. like, skittles and reeses pieces and m & ms, little roundish candies. Frolicking in that with a very small, select group of friends.
Awesome, or messy. Or delicious. Or all of the above.

"We melt in your mouth, not in your hands."
Stephanie, I hope you find something better and closer soon.
Deena pixels! Yay!
Erin, so glad you got sleep and are feeling better, even despite the barfing.
Still no word, but I did have a *lot* of questions. I'm talking to my boss tomorrow morning regardless, b/c I'm pretty much going to take it. At the very least I hope they give me PTO to volunteer for HG. My work coach helped me figure out the basics of what I want to say to my boss.
God, so weird. So weird to think about leaving that place and my beloved coworkers, trading skirts and heels for a toolbelt and sunscreen.
And now I need to crash, b/c I am undersleeped and overadrenalined.
It's so very exciting, smonster!
Wow, smonster, how exciting!
