Barb, in terms of wording, I wonder if your lawyer can work in a reference to Arkell v. Pressdram (1971). (Worth clicking the link if you don't already know the story.)
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
"...more of a guideline, really."
I'm sorry about the job, Stephanie. Maybe that Joe is deploying could be a good excuse to bail now.
edit: meant to add, I could have sworn you had a Nook, Erin. bummer. Well, the offer to share is open to anyone who gets one.
Tough decision, Stephanie. The commute and the overall situation sounds brutal. If you can manage it, a new plan might be the best idea.

::Diet Coke EVERYWHERE::
Yay Drew!
Sorry about the job news, Stephanie. May something better come along right now.
Deena!
... other than that, I've got nothing. Today is apparently a bad brain chemistry day.
Yay Drew!
Sorry about the job Stephanie, that would have been pretty nice if it had worked out.
Deena Deena Deena!!! SQUISH!!!
edit: How's the foot?

Hee.
We once had a rediculously contentious multi-party, multi-nation case where the one other local counsel refused service of a notice of deposition because it hadn't come, per Hague Conventions requirements, with funds to cover transportation.
We looked up the fees to cover fifteen blocks of travel, wrote a veddy veddy wordy and formal letter of apology, taped two subway tokens to it, and sent the bitch back.
The "off" part is just as important as the "on" part.
It really is. Electrician came right by and fixed it, though, which was good. I am now equipped to sit in the dark.
I hope they come back to you with a good offer, smonster.
Yay for home-going, ND!
