Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Do people actually do this? Not if you have a full time job and are tired when you get home. But then again, my tolernce level for mess is rather high.
Um. Yeah, I'm not much when it comes to house cleaning. I've been in my apartment now almost 3 months, I vacuumed once (for my mom's visit last weekend). My apartment in Dallas, in the 2 years there, I vacuumed about 3 or 4 times. Not to say I am the model to follow, but, giving you additional data to create the mental chart of what is average.
My mother did. She did not pass this gene on to me.

Ack. I just tried looking at that site, and my ADD-brain freaked out. Way too many colors and pictures and links at once. I'll look again tomorrow, when I'm less tired and maybe better able to figure it out.
I have it in my head that getting all vacuumable surfaces vacuumed once a month is a good goal. Pretty sure that's based on nothing at all.
Flylady is pretty much love it or hate it. I hate it (which I say just to say, not just you). But I know and love people it's really worked for, who haven't had much luck getting their places together otherwise.
Hahahaha! That is crazy vacuum talk! Once a week would make me feel like I was on top of shit. I do not vacuum that often. In part because that would require the floors to be cleaned enough of crap to be vacuum-able that often.
What the world needs is a good housekeeping book written by someone who seriously fucking loathes housework. They're all written by people who are actually interested in the subject, which is probably good for the person who would otherwise be stuck writing about something they aren't into, but leads to crazy talk about cleaning every day.
Did I make it in the first 500? Boy, I never get to play here anymore!
I vacuum several times a day at work.
This translates into I never vacuum at home. Ok, never is to strong of a word. It happens, but not nearly as often as it should. I even have a fabulous new (well, got it at Christmas, but it's still like new for the number of times I've used it) vacuum cleaner that is light and wonderful.
I have finished the first coat of paint in the bathroom. We're watching an ep of VM and I'm eating while it dries. I like it so far - we'll see once it dries. God willing, it doesn't need a second and I can do the hallway and maybe get to bed at a decent hour befor starting on Emeline's room and mural tomorrow.
