'The Killer In Me'

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

Sounds like the Boggle tournament at Ari Gold's house.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Zen, how did it go in Tennessee?

Bah. I can't say no progress was made, but we still don't have a signed contract. The good ol' boy verbal agreement/handshake dealmaking suits me not at all. I don't understand what the holdup is - I know the guy wants to buy the place; the price is agreeable to all parties; and he's the VP of the local bank and owns like 600 acres, so don't tell me he can't get a dang loan.

Capital gains tax rules change as of next year, too, so we have strong financial incentive to get the place sold before year's end.

Also, we have a huge antique armoire that we have no room for and no idea what to do with.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'll take it!

You could probably buy an armoire and have it delivered for what it would cost to rent a UHaul and drive this one from TN to NYC!

“Not dead yet!”

So, I'm working on hour 19 sans sleep and my eyes feel as if they're sinking straight to the back of my head. I do believe that tonight will be a Better Living Through Chemistry night.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Yikes. I hope you get to get a good night's sleep soon. Same for Erin.

Now uploading and tagging some of the photos I took on my long unexpected walk on Sunset Blvd. today. Some of my favorite types of SoCal architecture. [link]

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Great pics, Spidra. I am highly amused at the one of the mural, focusing in on a woman who puts me in mind of Katherine Hepburn, but the nearest words are "Gary Cooper".

Peace and sweet sleep~ma to Erin and Barb.

That was meant to be Greta Garbo. She's labeled underneath her. I was also amused by that framing.
