And the thing is, I like my evil like I like my men: evil. You know, straight up, black hat, tied to the train tracks, soon my electro-ray will destroy metropolis BAD.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Much ~ma for Daniel and for you, Andi. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

~ma to Daniel and Andi. I hope they can clear it up quickly.

Oh, man, I am belching truffle-flavored french fries, but I don't regret a single one of them. The TUMS bottle is getting a work-out, though.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Dammit, WindSparrow. That stinks. Get better quick, DCJ!

I just spent an hour or two paying bills and budgeting. Painful but necessary. Gonna take a while to dig myself out of this hole I got into with unemployment and moving, following years of irresponsible spending. Ah well.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Well, you'd have to dig yourself out of the hole anyway, and you're doing it in your dream city at a job that seems to be pretty kick ass so far!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

What Barb said, Andi. We're here if you need us.

Thanks. I love you guys - you know that, right?

May the drugs do their work quickly and completely.

I'm a lot less worried now than I was when they first told us they were admitting him. On friday they gave him two IV AB's. On Saturday, only the one IM injection. Today he has received one IM, and three by IV. I think that the one given on Saturday was less effective by itself than the two on Friday - which is why there was an improvement after that, but then it got worse after the Saturday treatment. By the time I left tonight, I saw some noticeable reduction in the inflammation on his leg. So I'm feeling a bit better able to concentrate on being optimistic.

Well, you'd have to dig yourself out of the hole anyway, and you're doing it in your dream city at a job that seems to be pretty kick ass so far!

I hope that takes the sting out of it, somewhat.

“Not dead yet!”

Andi, so much continued ~ma for both of you. And glad to hear that things seem to be on an upswing.

IOmeN, a couple of pics from this weekend that didn't send me screaming for the hills.

ION:

I might seriously need to borrow a corset or two for the end of October. The more outre, the better. I'm a 14/16, can provide exact measurements, and would pay for shipping here, back and have it cleaned (unless it's latex or leather) before returning.

My friends have generously bought and paid for tickets and travel -- the whole trip, really -- for us to go to a wicked cool masquerade/Burning Manthang in Detroit the weekend of October 22nd.

Costume are mandatory. I have a silver ballgown skirt, and a swancy sequined and embroidered wrap skirt in purple and gold, and can, of course, do my own fabulous makeup, but a corset would be the non plus ultra.

Anyone who might be willing, just let me know!

I haven't had an adventure like this in years, so it's kind of a belated 39th bday present.
