I finally just answered the phone. Apparently, after I cordially answered the census taker's questions, I was placed on a monthly survey schedule. Next month? Off the list.
I wouldn't mind except for the 'did you work less because business is bad?' and 'exactly how bad IS business' questions. It feels like an official rubbing it in.
