She didn't even touch her pumpkin. It's a freak with no face.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

erika, do you mean something like this? link

When has that ever happened here, though?

I will at least back up Cass that it does happen, and I feel it is kind of creepy.. I'm not sure if I would say it was common though. And now I'm trying to think if I've ever been guilty of it.

Always Anti-fascist!

sj wins at google! I probably have done it, but I probably didn't mean it as seriously as it would sound to somebody less dark-humored than myself.

Me, as well.

I'm the least woo-woo person in the world, and even I sometimes feel like, even if the intention is support for a friend (which is great!), that's a lot of bad energy being put out there.

I've also seen it in political discussions in Natter.

Yay, me! I've seen enough of those pictures in wedding albums that I knew exactly what you were talking about. They're very popular in RI or at least they were once upon a time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I agree that political discussions are out of hand almost before they begin, and named persons are piled on willy nilly, but I seriously don't recall it being common that strangers who did incidental things were vilified.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I basically agree with Scrappy. I've been in the position in the past of actually arguing with people trying to offer me support, because I felt they weren't being fair to the others in the situation.

There's certainly a time for "IT'S TINO! LET'S GET 'IM!", but validation of one person doesn't have to involve vilification of another. Everybody sucks at some point or another.

I can't think I wouldn't have noticed a call for death. Seriously.

Warts, yes, itches they can't scratch, probably. Not sure about the death thing either, but maybe it didn't bother me that much.
