These people have been in there a week! However, my neighbors are also jerks. I don't know what to do! Freaking out, I guess.
Talk to your renters, get their side of the story, especially if the neighbors are jerks.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, Drew, that really sucks. I hope the doctors find out what's wrong and fix it, quick.
Nora, I feel for you; pretty much the same thing happened to me when I had to play long-distance landlord for my house in Nashville. The tenants, who'd been recommended by a friend of mine, basically trashed the place by the time I found something was wrong. You're lucky, I think, to have neighbors letting you know there's a problem before it gets too bad. Get the tenants' side of the story, of course, but be aware that they may not admit they're doing anything they shouldn't be. You can also contact the PD and try and find out how many times they've gone over there and what they've found (if they'll tell you). Good luck.
That's really rough, Nora. Maybe check with the police, find out if they have had to visit your property?
Definitely do this, and request a copy of the police report. Also, print out that email and save it. If you have put this rental in the hands of an agency, make sure they have copies. Frequent incidents of this sort are grounds for eviction (at least they were when I worked for an apartment complex in AZ).
Yeah, I called the police, and they confirmed that they came out this morning for domestic disturbance- verbal/yelling. No arrests, and apparently they "kissed and made up."
I'm working on an email right now to get their side and to gently remind them how thin the condo walls are and how close together the building are.
Drew, I'm sorry you don't have answers yet. May they come soon, and the fix for your troubles not be too burdensome.
I hope they figure it out, ND. And that you get a more varied diet this weekend without too much trouble.
Nora, that sucks. I hope they shape up.
ND, have you tried Jamba Juice? Or are the fruit sugars too complex to digest? My thinking being, they are already liquid. But then again, I am not a GI specialist. Just trying to think of something other than rice for you to ingest. {{{ ND }} ( and brackets for Pix too {{{ Pix }}}, can't imagine it's easy for you too).
My doctor says the symptoms sound like pancreas, but the tests from last weekend in the hospital don't reflect pancreas.
Yikes, I very much hope it's nothing pancreas releated.
Nora, that sucks. How did you go about getting the tenants, and if something needs to be done about them, can whoever handled the rental do anything?
eh, we did it with the help of a friend and CL. So, you know.

Oh well. I hope it doesn't become a PitA.
