Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We can, in spirit, have a smoke and coffee together!

I have cleaned out my wallet, ordered my book for my music class AND a new copy of West Wing Season 2, and I am about to start making the shopping list to do my once a month cooking and create a chore chart for the family.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

That is what I am doing! My bulb burned out in my office overnight, and of course I can't replace it until I've had a cup of coffee.

Your efficiency is intimidating. I have lit a cigarette and taken some Tylenol.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

My efficiency is born from the place of "Oh fuck. I've been screwing off all summer and suddenly, everything needs to be done before Tuesday."

Except the chore chart. The chore chart is borne from a place of "If I don't list things out for everyone to do, everyday then my house is going to rapidly go the way of the shithole and I'll be the first person in history to get divorced because of a dishwasher."

With Joe working 12-14 hours and he and I barely seeing each other during the week, if things aren't organized, things get bad. Both mess-wise and relationship-wise.

I have a hair appt. at 9 (birthday gift from a friend) and I think I was so worried about not waking up in time for it that I kept waking up ALL NIGHT LONG.

But I haven't been out of the house in a week, and and I bound and determined to GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT today.

I will probably finish this coffee, put some laundry in, and get a new light bulb.

And then straighten up my desk so I can get some work done.

Go Erin!! I know how hard it can be to do the smallest of tasks when you've been feeling the way that you have been. I don't know exactly how you feel or have been feeling, since these bouts are so different for each person, but I have been there in my own way and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy, let alone someone I love and consider a friend. If you need another human's voice, I'm up and here and can offer either a sympathetic ear or a welcome distraction.

Aims, I love you!

I feel better today -- just stopped to take my meds, woo, go me, remembering at 5:30 -- and I felt better yesterday, once I spoke up.

Yesterday was so much better, I can't even tell you. And today, I am tired, but I don't feel as grim.

I won't be saving the world today, but I don't think I'll be cursing it -- much -- either.

Also? I will have clean clothes. And I shaved yesterday and put lotion on last night. I feel much less like the Hairy Lizard Woman from Planet Gloom.

I love you, too, honey.

Amazing how shaving and the simplest of grooming habits can make you feel so much better.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I find a shower and scented body lotion make me feel better, for what that's worth.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Yay, Erin!

Any plans to go outside today? I find that often helps my depression.
