Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That is a beautiful photo.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Thanks! We are so happy we got to participate and get this awesome photo taken.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

That is a fantastic picture!

So it seems The Alchemist made the beer column/blog of the Boston Globe's site today: [link]

Oooof. The update at the bottom hurts.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Ah, BALLS, Teppy. That seriously, seriously sucks. I'm pretty verklept about it myself and I don't even live up there anymore!

Thrive to spite them

I just read there's a report of child being killed somehow due to the storm.

Also freaking disaster gawkers are making things worse see this Sightseers also are being urged to stay away. Traffic was backed up on Vermont 2A near the Williston and Essex town line as people are taking pictures of water crashing over a nearby dam.

Pretty much everyone is told to stay off the state roads unless you need to be on them. I'm trying to find a written list of road closures the only up to date thing I can find is a map that's not very helpful to read with all the closures.

That picture in the Free Press of US 4 in Rutland being totally gone is just freaky as hell.

I keep thinking, they have the cannery, which is going to open this weekend. And they have flood insurance, so they can re-build. But it's still SUCH a loss. You've been there -- you've seen it. It's a great space, and it's totally trashed. And I am just agog at the loss of all the brewing equipment in the basement. Seven damn barrels. Shit.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Steph, that's so awful. I've never been there, obviously, but the way you talk about it is so infectious.

Glam, that's an amazing picture. Really great.

Aims, you might have to eat that one and move on. It hurts, but sometimes that happens.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, Steph, I'm so sorry for your brother's pub.

Will the cannery ship when it opens? Because that seems like the kind of thing that a social media campaign would really work for. Something tangible that people could get behind.

Gorgeous pic, glam. And you are both lovely!

It's such a great place and popular too. Dad even mentioned that he'd like to go there next time he visits. I'll tell him we have to put that off until they can rebuild.

I think their production capacity will dictate whether they can ship. Because they have a HUGE cult following that would definitely snap up all the beer if they did ship.

The cannery will be open for tours and tastings -- so no pub food, and I know you don't like beer, but if your dad likes beer, it might be worth checking out. Plus it's practically next door (literally) to the Ben & Jerry's factory, who ALSO has a tour that's awesome, which you probably know.
