Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ann, that's a ferret.

askye, does Price Chopper allow you to enter your phone number to get credit for points (or the like) if you don't have your frequent user card with you?

They base it off of your driver's license and I got the card with my Florida license and haven't changed it to my Vermont license.

I asked if they could search by phone number or name and they said no it's only by driver's license number.

Ginger, I almost got the wrong type but I kept looking at all the different types of extension cords and then I saw Appliance Extension cord and realized that's what I needed.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

askye, St. Albans is so far north and you're STILL getting hurricane-related warnings? Daaaaaamn.

That's great, askye. I know too much about electricity.

I'm not sure if St Albans is going to be in the impacted area but they are issuing warnings for Burlington. It's mostly warnings of possible power outages and downed trees.

One of the weather.com maps showed possibility winds of 65mph covering most of VT. And there are warnings of flash flooding.

I realized I need batteries for my clock radio.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

The projections are still uncertain about Irene's path through NC in two days. It may just clip the Outer Banks or it may come a good ways inland. The latter would affect the Trianglistas a lot more than the former.

I am wondering if the tree whose limb did a number on my car will survive the weekend. I'm also planning to park well out of its potential falling range.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh my god, they made something like doberge cake in Moldova and it was one of my favorite things there, how did I not know it was a thing here and why haven't I got some RIGHT NOW?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm a little freaked out about Irene because my mom is up in Massachusetts--right on the water. She is not evacuating, but she's battening down the hatches. She's relieved my stepdad is not up there, because he would only be a pain in the ass and slow down her hurricane prep.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Bleh. I'm tired of being in pain.
