Get up...get up, you stupid piece of... What did you do that for? What's wrong with you? Didn't you hear a word he said? All of you! You think there's someone just going to drop money on you?! Money they could use?! Well, there ain't people like that. There's just people like me.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Full fat and sugar and that other stuff they throw in and it's basically a hot milkshake.

Thrive to spite them

Glad everyone is okay after the earthquake. Although I think it should be a rule that all meetings end after earthquakes.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

But if you have full fat, or add sugar, it starts getting pretty calorie-bomb.

Which is of course how I prefer them! I actually don't think I eat badly on a regular basis, so it is the exercise that has been making the difference.

Teppy, is it bad to combine delsum and mucinex cough?

The news is saying that the earthquake could be felt in MA. I didn't feel anything here.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Earthquake, wow. I got out of my car at the doctor's office and the car kept shaking. At first I thought the engine was still running. Then I saw people exiting the clinic, at a rather leisurely pace for an evacuation. I thought something huge had exploded until a random stranger told me what happened. So I was driving for most of the action. Nothing in my house is disturbed except the cats.

My niece called me from Berlin to find out if her house was still standing. Now I have to go check on it.

I'm glad people are checking in and are ok.

My cousin's boss tried to calm his employee's down by telling them it could be a bomb.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Earthquake, wtf? I'm glad folks are checking in.

ION, the tech job fair was ... well, it wasn't a complete waste of time, because I now have job contacts to list for the next few weeks of unemployment claims. But otherwise, not worth getting up early for. Almost a waste of eyeliner. BUT. After coming home and being dramatically upset about a couple of things (if that abx of evil has permanently reset my anxiety levels, I am going to be PISSED), I got emails about scheduling an informational for something at Amazon and a freelance writing gig.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Largest east coast quake since 1897!

USGS says fatalities unlikely.
