Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'd say yes, Vortex -- e.g., Higher Education Administration: Legal & Project Management specialist -- and you can also put your LinkedIn profile address on your business cards if the profile is complete.
ION, we had a hell of a storm last night, lost power, I woke up when the cat peed on the down comforter and soaked through to the bed, and I am drinking coffee sans milk. Blearch.
What's the name of the stuff that works well on cat pee? I'm not thinking Feliway; I'm thinking the stuff that gets cat peesmell out of fabric?
And good morning. Yar.
Nature's Miracle?
And timelies.
That's it! Ah, well, PetSmart is close to TJ's which I haven't had the guts to go back to since The Scary Opening Day, so I guess I'll go there in an hour when it opens.
Need milk, lemon juice, groceries, and cat pee remover. Linens are already in washer, but I need to treat the comforter and the spot on the mattress.
Vortex, I like the LinkedIn profile. And maybe a phrase that describes your field.
Vortex, I just put "Linked In member" on mine, as my profile address was ridiculously unwieldy.
askye, I'm so sorry. I hope the sisters get to see each other.
also, I've got that design seeds website up, and I'm not sure how to use it. Is it to show you how various colors work together?
Yeah, I mean, if you were designing a website or making greeting cards or painting a shotgun house in New Orleans or knitting a scarf and needed some inspiration. That's how I'm taking it.
Nature's Miracle and Petastic both work on cat pee.
Oh! In exciting news, my roommate is bringing home a 3-mos old feral kitten from the zoo today, so it doesn't get put down. This should be interesting... maybe Frankie will get to have a kitty friend!
For the hat trick: I accidentally posted the following in Literary last night, so just moving it over here.
You know what's magically awesome? Having authority to match one's responsibility. Like, in my job, I don't just make recommendations on what's salvageable and research markets that will never get used. I can make it all happen, instead of watching it go into the dumpster when it doesn't have to. MAGIC.
Now to figure out how to shore up a bldg so it won't fall on us while we're taking it apart so we can salvage the wood and sell it.
Vortex, I just put "Linked In member" on mine, as my profile address was ridiculously unwieldy.
You might think about putting a QR code on the back of the card for this. [link] They're super easy to do and might make the card more memorable.
That's it! Ah, well, PetSmart is close to TJ's which I haven't had the guts to go back to since The Scary Opening Day, so I guess I'll go there in an hour when it opens.
Nature's Miracle is often available at veterinary offices, as well as hardware stores, not just pet stores.
Holy eff. Em and I are home from our AMAZING trip to DC. Started off seeing my Beloved Buffistas and ended with a tour of the White House. It couldn't have been a better trip. Well, if Joe had been there, it would have been awesomer, but seriously I love DC. I think Joe and I are going to try to come back spring or summer 2012 at some point.
Thank you so much to the Buffistas who came out, especially Vortex who, in addition to grabbing my boob and totally making my day, chose an awesome brunch spot and herded the cats.
