At our beginning-of-semester meeting today, we were told that the administration has told our department that we're supposed to create a culture of excellence. Nobody has yet been able to get a definition of this term, or any guidelines for how we should go about creating it.
'Heart Of Gold'
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Good news: Kato got picked for the canine calendar! He gets his picture taken by a professional dog photographer on Saturday.
I asked Tim, "Do you feel like our kid got accepted to college?"
"Uh, I feel like our kid got picked to be on a calendar."
Fair enough.
Oo how fun, Steph! Go Kato!
Go Kato!!
That's awesome, Steph!
Of COURSE Kato was chosen. How could he have not been with all that regalness?
Yay Kato!
Taz is still at the vet's. The hope is now that we can go get him in the morning. Sigh.
Ugh Nora, poor kitty!
Yeah- I'm so frustrated because I knew something was wrong LAST Sunday and brought him to the vet on Monday. We got a vague diagnosis of "ideopathic bladder irritation" and he got sent home with no medication. By Thursday night he's puking and totally low energy (as in, no energy) and on Friday he has a horrible raging UTI that necessitates five days in the vet hospital, catheterization twice, and medication to strengthen a bladder muscle that was weakened by the infection causing the bladder to stretch out.
This sucks so hard. Why didn't they catch the bladder infection before it got to this point??? Plus, I also feel like a very bad cat parent.
Go Kato!
Poor Taz - here's hoping he can come home.
any guidelines for how we should go about creating it.
Hil, you should go over to the science building and get some petri dishes. All good cultures begin in petri dishes.
