Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

Barb, I must need a hole in my head, b/c OMG WANT.

I know, right? SOOOOO cute! However, I was a responsible girl and while I got seduced into browsing handbags and the like on Zappos (due to Pix's baaaaaaad influence!) I stayed away from the purses I did not need and instead, purchased a wallet, which I desperately needed. But it's PRETTY!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Laga, I love that male lingerie shop. I wish I had a man to dress in that shit.

I forgot that link was posted while I was at work, and I went back and looked at it -- and managed to spark an argument with Tim. Proving that being an ally still means sometimes you fail HARD.

t edit I said, "Wow...that just looks WEIRD."

Even in the context of my train of thought, it wasn't the best thing I've ever said. (Context -- I was thinking, wow, I've never seen lingerie on male models and/or never seen so many different pieces of lingerie modeled on guys before. Because I only have the one guy at a time, here.)

Girlfriend FAIL tonight.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

FWlittleIW, Steph, something about it pushed it from sexy to weird for me, too. Maybe it was the manly bodybuilder poses on the ones I saw. It seemed incongruous.

I should probably go back and look at more of them. Just to make sure.

Pretty much the only gender-bending dude I find hot is *my* gender-bending dude. It's unexpected and incongruous on unfamiliar dudes.

My cis-normativity, let me show you it. Woo.

Do any of you ladies have experience with intractable headaches that come along with or just preceding the start of the period? That won't yield to *anything*? Nothing works - Tylenol, Advil, Valium, caffeine, no caffeine, sleep, magnesium, decongestants, nothing. It feels like a sinus headache - it's along my right cheekbone and behind my eye and ear - but I only get it in the first days of my period or right before. This has been happening for about the last six months. Anyone have advice or some explanation or anything?

Zen, migraines around my period is why I'm on birth control (...it sure ain't the boysex!) I just skip 'em--don't take the placebo pills, then no headache! But I doubt that's the answer for you.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Currently, in fact.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Maybe it was the manly bodybuilder poses on the ones I saw. It seemed incongruous.

I don't expect all men to look that way, but I'm delighted they did. I'm delighted they didn't make them slim and vampy--I want to see lingerie outside of a gender issue. Cis males in silky undies? That is my idea of a good time.

Not that I don't appreciate guyliner, etc, just that the not-at-all-feminine men in stereotypically feminine clothing is very freeing for me. I *love* that sight, and would love to get a guy who'd dress that way where I could know about it. LOVE.

Jeez. I didn't realize it was so common. meara, I couldn't take BC pills anyway; after I had a blood clot, no doctor would prescribe them. But is it the estrogen or something else that stops the headache? I have an old script for progesterone that a holistic doc once thought would help with ... I dunno, something; I quit taking them after a couple months because they didn't seem to do anything, but that was before the headaches started.

Dear Powers That Be, I am totally serious about being a guy next life. Y'all know that, right?
