Planned for Guy Fawkes day I'd heard.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm having a bad day. godaddy is making my head explode...still. And I just begged Robert Reich to run for president on twitter.
I want a mountain of chocolate...which is not available to me.
Poot.
I saw an ad for Chocolate Mint Klondike bars: want!
I don't like mint and chocolate--unless it's a Peppermint Pattie.
Love those too.
late but hopefully still potent it's-nothing~ma for Jilli's eye.
I hope all goes/went well, Jilli.
omg boyfriends are awesome! I just got a message to 'not make plans' and 'pack an overnight bag'. Whee!
Bon Bon and other Buffista trademark lawyers: If in a book I compare a bad policy to King Kong and illustrate with a cartoon giant ape, and compare another bad policy to Godzilla and illustrate it with a picture of a green dinosaur , am I violating trademark? Neither picture looks much like King Kong or Godzilla. But I'm explicitly making the comparison.
How much would you expect to pay for an artisan book?
My BFF has started making her own books. She prints the pages from Gutenberg, on specialty paper, sews them, binds them, makes the covers, cuts the leather, binds the covers in leather, gilds the edges of the paper, does the cover illustrations herself, and she built the sewing frame thingy herself. She uses acid-free archival everything, she makes the paste herself, and she taught herself all of this.
Here's the LJ and the WordPress where she posted progress photos. (Posted with permission.)
I'm trying to convince her that this is worth something. Not necessarily trying to convince her to start a business, but just to impress upon her that this is indeed worth something. What do you think?
