Actually, your description above (slamming closet door, slamming front door, slamming car door, *screaming* "Fuck" the whole time) does not seem like a proportionate response to breaking a light bulb.
But, again, if you (or your sister, or both, whoever it is who lives with this dude) don't have a problem with that kind of behavior, then it's not really an issue.

I guess it would depend on the cause. I grew up in more of a "silent treatment" family, so slamming doors and cursing would seem a bit extreme to me, unless there was a major causal factor. Are there bees in the closet? That would produce the reaction above from me. Busted lightbulb, not so much.

Yeah, that sounds pretty disproportionate to me. I mean, a loud "FUCK!" when you do something stupid and/or annoying like break a bulb or spill the dinner you just made all over the floor or whatever? Sure. Maybe slamming the car door extra hard as you get in to go buy a new bulb/supper, because you're frustrated? Sure. Repeatedly doing so while yelling loudly? Kinda creepy.

in other lizard news: cricket fight! Do the males spar over the females? I'd never seen (nor heard) such a thing before, they both had their wings all flared up around themselves, were making a chittery racket quite unlike the usual noise, and were hopping and crashing into each other. I wished I had video.
